Welcome!
Yeah, "Black Sabbatical." Guess what my favorite band is. Guess what my favorite genre of music is. That's right, Classic Rock, Hard Rock...Heavy Metal. Even some Speed Metal and Death Metal thrown in for good measure.
So, first post...today the "West Memphis Three" were released. Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam was there. Here is the abbreviated version of the story. Some seventeen years ago, three innocent young boys were kidnapped, tortured, raped and murdered in a most hideous fashion. Truly a heinous crime in a world full of heinous shit. Various people in positions of power who couldn't find their ass with two hands browbeat the weakest of three outcast kids until he confessed and rolled over on the other two.
You see...you listen to Hard Rock music or you have an interest in the occult or something like that, well, you're guilty of something! See that Ozzy Osbourne T-shirt? Guilty! Pentagram drawing on the shitty, advertising riddled glossy cover on your social studies book chock full of brainwashing bullshit? Guilty!
Well, they can't give them their lives back, they will never be the same. Imagine the nightmare they have endured for almost two decades. I'm glad they're out and I hope they are able to put this injustice behind them. Because of the fucking boobs that couldn't figure out the case years ago, justice will never be served to the three little kids. Unfortunately, the system sacrificed three other children in a fucked up witch hunt.
